Pros: Quite often a simple change could cause a major havoc in an office. For example a file server had to be renamed. Apparently that’s small issue. But not so for the bunch of sales & marketing presentations that have all kinds of references using the server name. The pain area now is this whole bunch of presentations will have to be checked slide by slide to make the necessary change. Right? Not necessarily if you had an application that could go through these slides on each presentation in the folder to find and replace strings that have the server name references. Office address that you use in headers of everything that you produce through MS Office, has changed! There are many such situations that can necessitate a change in many documents. Whenever you need to change in text, header, Footer, comments, hyperlinks, OLE objects or VBA code in a bunch of files in a folder this application can do the corrections by find and replace. The user interface is really a set of tables under a tabbed structure. First step is to find the files/folders of the right type that need changes to be made.

One can specify that sub folders also be included in getting the files that need replacements to be done. Then under different tabs specify the changes to be made. One can specify a date so that files older than that date need not be processed. There’s a console tab that communicates with users through log messages.

Cons: No obviously problematic issue.

Overall, a nice set of features, fairly easy to use this application is good for a very good level of 3 stars.
